Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our IT security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing our systems, networks, and data from cyber threats, managing security incidents, and implementing security measures to protect the organization’s digital assets.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Security Management:
Implement and manage cybersecurity protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
Monitor and analyze network traffic for potential threats, vulnerabilities, and anomalies.
2. Incident Response & Recovery:
Respond to security breaches and incidents, coordinating efforts to resolve issues and minimize damage.
Conduct forensic investigations to determine the cause and impact of security breaches.
3. Risk Assessment & Mitigation:
Perform regular security assessments, audits, and vulnerability testing on systems and applications.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect sensitive data and infrastructure.
4. Security Policy & Documentation:
Create, update, and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
Maintain documentation related to security protocols, incidents, and recovery efforts.
5. Collaboration & Training:
Work closely with the IT department to integrate security measures into the infrastructure.
Train employees on security awareness and ensure compliance with security protocols.
6. Continuous Monitoring & Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
Continuously improve security systems and processes to enhance overall protection.

Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles.
Certifications:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification preferred.
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or CompTIA Security+ is a plus.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
Expertise in vulnerability assessment tools, penetration testing, and encryption technologies.
Experience with security tools like SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
